Cheesy Mashed Potato Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of mashed potatoes
- 1 can of green beans, drained
- 1/4 cup of milk
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup of diced onions
- 3 cloves of minced garlic
- 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, green beans, milk, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and smooth it out with a spoon or spatula.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the top of the casserole evenly. Then, dot the top of the casserole with small pieces of butter.
- Bake the casserole for 30-40 minutes, or until the cheese on top is melted and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
